Background: McCune-Albright Syndrome (MAS) is a rare genetic disorder characterized by polyostotic fibrous dysplasia of the skeleton, "café-au-lait" skin hyperpigmentation, and hyperfunction of endocrine glands. A distinctive feature of the syndrome is the autonomous activation of the ovaries leading to the formation of unilateral, recurring estrogen-producing cysts.
